Waffle Mix:
2 c. cornbread mix
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
Sprinkle in bacon bits if desired.

Syrup:
1/2 c. honey
4 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. maple syrup

Mix waffle mixture together and cook in waffle maker until golden brown,

For the syrup, melt butter, honey, and maple syrup slowly in a pan and mix. Serve over waffles.
