32 caramels
6 Tbsp cream or milk
¾ c soft butter
1 c flour
1 c oatmeal
¾ c brown sugar
½ tsp soda
⅛ tsp salt
½ cup nuts
1 (16 oz) pkg milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and cream (or milk). Meanwhile, mix together the butter, flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, and salt. Press a little more than half of the flour mixture into 9x13" pan. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Remove; sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Pour caramel over nuts and chips mixture (just pour it around, it spreads as it bakes). Crumble remaining crust mixture on top. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Hint: Depending on how fast your oven bakes, watch closely. Especially the first 10 minutes. You don't want to bake this too long.
