9 cups Crispix or rice Chex cereal
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1⁄2 cup smooth peanut butter, melted
1⁄4 cup butter, melted
1 - 2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Measure cereal in a large bowl with lid. Set aside.

2. Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter for 1 minute on high. Stir.

3. Cook for 30 seconds longer or until smooth.

4. Add vanilla.

5. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until coated.

6. Add powdered sugar and put the lid on the bowl.

7. Shake until well coated.

8. Spread on waxed paper to cool.

9. Return to the large sealed bowl to store.

When the kids were little, we used to make this right before midnight on New Year's Eve, Each got a turn to shake the bowl and it was our midnight snack.
