1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup melted butter
3 eggs
1 cup pecans
1 pie crust

1. Preheat the oven to 350º.

2. Combine the first four ingredients and mix well.

3. Fold in the pecans.

4. Pour into the pie crust.

5. Bake 45 - 55 minutes or until the middle is no longer "jiggly."

There are variations to this pie:

**Emilee's Favorite Chocolate Pecan Pie: Add 1/2 cup cocoa before the pecans.

**Coconut Chess Pie: Substitute one cup of sweetened coconut flakes for the pecans.
