1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c butter
2 (10.75oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1/2 tsp salt
2 C cheddar cheese, grated
2 lb frozen hashbrown potatoes
3/4 c cornflakes, crushed and firmly packed
4 Tbsp butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in 1/2 C butter until soft. Combine cooked onions, soup, sour cream, salt and cheese. Stir in hashbrowns. Spoon into a 9x13" pan. Combine crushed cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle over top of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
