SOUP BASE:
3oz (1/4 Cup) chicken soup base
9 Cups of diced potatoes
1 Cup small diced carrots
3 Cups diced onion
9 1/4 Cup water
1TBS dried dill

CREAM BASE:
2 Sticks of butter
1TBS salt
1 3/4 Cups flour
3/4 Tsp pepper
6 3/4 Cups whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all soup base ingredients except the chicken base and 1/4 water in a large pot. Combine 1/4 Cup water and soup base, mix and add to soup base pot and stir.. Cook until the potatoes are tender. Set aside to cool a little. In a different pot melt butter and then add flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for a couple minutes. Slowly add in the milk and cook on medium heat till thick. It should be like a very thick pudding. Adding the milk slowly will keep lumps from forming. Strain if necessary. Add finished cream base to soup base slowly and cook till blended. This should take approx. 1/2 hour after everything is combined.
