It is very important that use you use a true 9x13" pan - nothing smaller

FIRST LAYER

1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c (1 stick) butter or margarine
2 T sugar
1 c chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Blend flour, butter, and sugar together until mixture resembles course crumbs.
Stir in nuts. Press in bottom o a 9x13" pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for
15 minutes or until lightly brown Cool before continuing

SECOND LAYER

1 C xxxx sugar
1 (8oz)] cream cheese softened
1 (8oz) container thawed Cool Whip

Beat xxxx sugar and cream cheese until well blended, Fold in Cool Whip
Spread on cooled crust

THIRD LAYER

2 - 3.5 oz packages of instant pudding (your choic of flavor; lemon,
chocolate, butterscotch or pistachio
3 cups milk
Beat until thickened (about 2 minutes) and spread on top of cream
cheese layer.

4TH LAYER

1 8-oz container thawed Cool Whip
Chopped nuts

Spread Cool Whip on top of pudding layer and sprinkle with chopped nuts

Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight

Serves 12-15 depending on the size you cut it
