Libby's Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients:  
2 cans (12oz) carnation milk
2 cans 100 per cent pure pumpkin (12 oz each)
1 1/2 c sugar
1 t salt
2 t cinnamon
1 t ginger
1/4 t cloves
4 lg eggs
2 unbaked pie shells

Mix sugar, salt, spices i small bowl
Beat eggs in large bowl Stir in pumpkin, sugar and spices
Pour into pie shells
Bake in preheated oven 425 degree for 15 minutes
Reduce temperature to 350 degrees bake 40-50 minutes
Until knife inserted near center comes out clean
Cool on rack for 2 hours
Serve immediately or refrigerate
NOTE - Do not freeze pie as this will cause the crust to separate
from filling.
Makes 2 pies




For 1 pie -
1 can Libby's pumpkin
1 (120z) carnation milk
1 t salt
2 t cinnamon
1/2 ginger
1/4 t cloves
2 lg eggs
1 unbaked pie shell
