Fresh broccoli
Red onion
Dark raisins
Sugar
White Vinegar
Mayonnaise
Bacon
Sunflower seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Cut/break 2heads of broccoli crowns into small pieces. Chop one medium red onion into small pieces. Add 1/2 of 12ounce container of dark raisins. In a bowl, put above mixture and add 6tbsp of sugar, 6 tbsp of white vinegar and 2cups of mayonnaise. Marinate overnight.

My friend, Fran Rudovsky, makes this salad and it is very yummy. Marinating overnight is important so that the flavors blend. You can lessen the calories by using low fat mayonnaise and cutting back on the sugar and bacon. But...why would you want to ?
