Directions:Preheat smoker to 250º 1) Place cream cheese on smoker safe dish and place in freezer for 30 mins. 2)Mix all the dry ingredients together to make a dry rub. Mix well to eliminate any clumps. 3)Remove cream cheese from freezer. With sharp knife, make diagonal cuts across the top of cream cheese. ( top right to bottom left) Repeat in opposite direction (top left to bottom right) to make a diamond pattern. 3). Rub olive oil on top and sides of cream cheese and apply the the dry rub to the cream cheese. 4) If your cream cheese is on a glass dish, bring dish to room temperature by heating it in the microwave for 2-3 mins. This is to prevent the glass from breaking when placed in smoker. It's important that the glass is not cold when placed in smoker. If you are using a metal pan, you my skip this step. 5)Smoke at 250º for 2 hours 6)Drizzle smoked cream cheese with honey right before serving. 7) Serve with toasted baguette, crackers or pita bread. |
