Ingredients:
1lb thinly sliced beef (flank, ribeye, or sirloin steak)
1lb fresh broccoli, cut into florets
1 Red bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
Rice or lo mein noodles
White sesame seeds, for garnish

Sauce:

2 tsp minced garlic
½ cup hot water

3 tbsp brown sugar, packed
1½ tbsp corn starch
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp sesame oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the stir fry sauce ingredients and set aside.

Thinly slice the steak (freeze steak for 30 min prior to make slicing easier). Season with salt and pepper and add to a wok on high heat with oil. Cook for 2 minutes per side and remove from the pan.

Add the broccoli to the wok and cook for 5-6 minutes or until desired softness (to make softer, add in 1-2 teaspoons of water).

Once the broccoli is cooked, reduce the heat to medium, add back the beef and pour in the sauce. Let cook for 3-4 minutes until thickened.

Serve over rice or lo mein noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds.
