2 1/2 pounds Bacon
1/4 cup Bacon Grease
1 1/2 Chopped Onions
4 cups Clam Juice
2 10 oz Minced Clams (Can you fresh clams.)
4 cups Cubed Potatoes
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp White Pepper
1/2 cup Clam Juice
4-6 tsp Flour
3 cups Half and Half
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Brown bacon, drain and reserve 1/4 cut of the grease. Saute onions cooking until golden. Add all clam juice, cubed potatoes, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Boil it until cubes are tender. Take 1/4 cup clam juice out and mix with 4-6 tablespoons flour making a roux. Add to hot boiling potatoes. When soup is thickened, add clams, bacon, and 3 cups of half-and-half. Dot with butter before serving.
