Whole chicken
1 c water
Stock cubes
Gravy granules
Shortcrust pastry
Puff pastry

Homemade Chicken Pie Cheryl Bakes Cakes
Place whole chicken into slow cooker. 1 cup of water. Cover with tin foil on high cover with the lid for about 4 hours.
Remove chicken from the bone.
Add in stock cubes and some gravy granules.
Unroll some shortcrust pastry into a baking dish.
Add in the chicken and the gravy.
On top place puff pastry on top , Tuck the edges under the shortcrust pastry then go around with two fingers and 1 finger and crimp the edges. Brush with beaten egg and rub. 375 oven until lovely and golden brown. Serve with green peas.
