4 eggs, well beaten
3 cups flour
1 cup oil
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 can solid pack pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup nuts and/or raisins

Directions:

Sift together the dry ingredients (except nuts/raisins). In another mixing bowl. Blend together the eggs, oil, pumpkin, water, and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients, mixing well. Add nuts or raisins or both and mix well. Pour into greased 9”x5”x3” loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
