2 cups warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
4 tsp. melted shortening
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add other ingredients and mix. Knead dough longer than for regular biscuits. Roll ¼” thick. Cut with biscuit cutter and brush both sides with melted butter. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400º until brown.
