2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1½ cups milk, warmed slightly
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Put the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a mixing bowle and stir the mixture with a fork until blended.

In another bowl, beat the eggs well and stir in the milk. Combine with the flour mixture until mixed. Add the melted butter and beat until blended.

Pour about ½ cup of batter into a very hot waffle iron. Bake the waffles until they are golden and crisp. Serve hot.
