4 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries, slightly mashed
2-1/2 cup powdered fruit pectin
3 cups sugar

In 2 quart saucepan combine strawberries and pectin. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil (10-15 minutes). Stir in sugar. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full bol (3 to 5 minutes) . Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat; with large metal spoon skim foam from top. Pour jam into hot sterilized jars. Store in refrigerator.
