CRUST:

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 t. thyme or sage
1/2 t. baking powder

FILLING:

1/2 c. carrots
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. green pepper or celery
2 T. butter
2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
1 can (10 oz.) cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute vegetables in 2 T. butter. Combine all filling ingredients, set aside.

Combine first three crust ingredients in a small mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Add flour, salt, baking powder and thyme or sage. Spread batter evenly over bottom and side of 9 inch pie pan or 12 x 18 inch baking pan. Spoon filling over crust and top with cheese.

Bake at 400º F for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
