½ stick - margarine
1 pkg. - ramen noodles, not cooked, crumbled
1 c. - almonds, slivered
4 T. - sunflower seeds
1 head - cabbage, chopped OR 1 bag of slaw mixture OR broccoli coleslaw mix (its ok to mix together)

DRESSING:
¼ c. - vinegar (cider is best)
½ c. - sugar
½ c. - vegetable oil
1 T. - soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients. Sauté until golden brown and drain on paper towel & cool. Dressing: Mix in a pan, bring to a boil and cool. Pour into a jar and shake well before pouring over cabbage. Keep dressing and noodles mixture separated until just before serving.

Optional: Red shredded cabbage, green onions, shredded carrots, green pepper. The more vegetables used, the more salad color.
