1 1/2 cups Butter Flavor Crisco
2 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
4 T milk
2 T vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine Crisco, light brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at low speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat eggs into creamed mixture. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonful of dough onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375º for 10 - 11 minutes. Do not bake too long. Take out as they turn light brown. Cool on baking sheet, then remove cookies and place on foil to cool completely.
