1 LARGE ONION, 2 TBSP BUTTER, 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL, 2 GARLIC CLOVES, 1 BEEF BOULLION CUBE, 1 TSP WORCHESTIRE SAUCE, BLACK PEPPER, 1/4 TSP THYME, 1/2 C WATER, 3 TBSPS FRESH CHIVES, PINT SOUR CREAM, 1/2 PINT SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE

HEAT BUTTER AND OIL. ADD CHOPPED ONION AND CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES. CARMELIZE AND THEN ADD BEEF BOUILLON CUBE, WORCHESHIRE, DASH BLACK PEPPER, THYME AND WATER. SET ASIDE. MIX TOGETHER CHIVES, SOUR CREAM AND CREAM CHEESE. ADD ONION MIXTURE. SERVE WITH CHIPS OR VEGETABLES
