Ingredients:  
1 cup. garbonzo flour
6 T. tapioca flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 T. garlic powder
2 t. paprika (Hungarian is best:)
2 t. thyme
1/4 t. oregano
1/4 t. basil

2 chicken breasts, cut in strips
1 egg, beaten
Oil, for frying (highly recommend sunflower oil)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
Dredge chicken strips in dry mix.
Dip floured chicken strips in beaten egg.
Thoroughly coat eggy chicken strips in dry mix.
Fry in 2 inches of oil.

This is Isobel's absolute favorite meal when we are in Hungary. She only likes it fried in sunflower oil, and she's right, it does taste different in canola or vegetable oil. I make huge batches of the dry mix so I always have some on hand.
