4-5 strips bacon, cubed
5 big onions
3 green peppers
2 pounds ground round
1 tbsp. salt (may not need)
1-2 cans drained kidney beans (I like canelloni beans)
at least 1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
at least 2 tbsp paprika
garlic powder to taste
3 cans tomato soup (may only need 2)
3/4 cup tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp, drain off some fat.
2. cut up onions, simmer on low flame for 20 minutes.
3. Cut up green peppers, simmer 20 minutes low flame with cover on.
4. Add ground round and mix.
5. Add salt, if desired.
6. Cover and simmer until meat is done.
7. When meat is done, add beans, tomato soup and tomato juice.
8. Mix while still simmering.
9. Add chili powder, paprika, garlic powder (This is a personal taste preference. I usually add a lot more than the recipe calls for).
10. Mix all of above and simmer to a boil.
