1 lb ziti or penne pasta, cooked and drained
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
5 cups marinara sauce (I like Raos)
15 oz ricotta
12 oz mozzarella
1 cup Parmesan, divided

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef with onion over medium heat, breaking up beef with a spatula, until beef is fully cooked through and onions are softened. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and saute another minute. Add 5 cups marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer and continue cooking for 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Spread a ladle of meat sauce into a 9X13 casserole. Add ricotta into the remaining sauce. Add cooked pasta and stir just until the noodles are coated. Transfer half the pasta to the baking dish. Top with 1/2 of the mozzarella and 1/2 of the Parmesan. Add remaining pasta and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
