1 cup sugar
1 TBL cocoa (or more to taste)
1 stick salted butter
1 cup Half and Half, or milk

Directions:

Melt butter in cast iron skillet. Stir in sugar and cocoa to dissolve sugar. Add milk. Reduce heat and cook, stirring constantly until thick. Serve warm.

This is a Burgess family recipe. Serve this over buttered biscuits, pancakes or waffles. Leftover gravy can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated.
