2 lb fresh chicken livers (4-5 boxes)
1 large chopped onion
6-8 hard boiled eggs
salt
pepper
1/2 stick margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Fry chopped onions until golden with 1/2 stick margarine. Rinse and drain livers and add to the onions while stirring. Cook for 15-20 minutes with occasional stirring on medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. When cooked, let stand to cool completely. Boil eggs and let cool. Drain the livers but save the liquid.
In a meat grinder, add one liver, one egg, onions, etc until all is done. Mix the ground stuff and add slowly from the liquid until a desired consistency is achieved. Taste and add more salt or pepper, if necessary. Cool in refrigerator.
Decorate with parsley leaves and cherry tomatoes. Very tasty with chala bread.
