1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
milk as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the Mackerel and take out the bones. You won't be able to get all the bones out, some people leave them in.

Mix Mackerel, egg and flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and add a little milk if needed. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. When the oil is hot drop by spoonfuls and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
