1 small Shallot
1 cup Shredded Carrots
2 T minced garlic
4 T Butter
1/4 cup Flour
7 cups Chicken Stock
2 cups Half & Half
2 T Chicken Bouillon
5 cups Chopped or cubed Chicken

Dumplings:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 T plus 1t Baking Powder
1 t black pepper
1 t salt
1 T Fresh Thyme or 1 t Dried Thyme, optional
3/4 cup (6oz) Whole Milk
4 T butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In a Saucepan, saute shallot, shredded carrots, and garlic. Then add butter. Once the butter is melted, add flour to make a roux. Add half and half and chicken stock and stir in. Add chicken bouillon and cubed chicken, then bring to a boil. Season to taste with SPG. Once boiling, add dumplings and continue cooking for approximately 15 minutes or until dumplings are fluffy.
