4 oz. Baker's Sweet Chocolate (the green box)
¼ c Butter
1 Can Evaporated Milk (12 oz.)
1½ c Sugar
3 T Cornstarch
⅛ t Salt
2 Eggs
1 t Vanilla
1 c Sweetened Coconut
1 c Pecans, chopped
1 Uncooked 8-inch Pie Crust (I use a store-bought deep dish pie crust)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. When chocolate and butter are melted, stir in milk. Remove from heat and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. beat in eggs and add vanilla. Gradually blend in chocolate mixture. Fold in pecans and coconut. Pour into crust. Bake at 325º for 1 hour.

The Baker's Sweet Chocolate is the same as used in a German Chocolate Cake.
