4 cups flour
1½ cups butter
3 egg yolks slightly beaten
½ tsp. salt
1 cake yeast (3 packages dry yeast)
½ cup sour cream
powdered sugar

Filling:
1 cup sugar
3 stiffly Beaton efg whites
1 ½ cups chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and salt together - add yeast to flour, then cut in butter as for pie crust.

Add beaten egg yolks and sour cream. Divide dough in small sections and roll out on board dredged with powdered sugar. Put a spoon of filling in corners and roll as for cresents.

Filling:
Beat egg whites very stiff. Beat sugar into egg whites gradually. Fold in vanilla and nuts. Place a teaspoon of filling on each wedge and the wide end and roll toward point Place on ungreased cooke sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees till golden brown.
