1-gallon sliced pickles
8 med. sized onions
½ c. salt
5 c. sugar
2 ½ c. vinegar
2 ½ c. water
2 T. mustard seed
1 t. turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Slice pickles and onions.

Dissolve salt in ice water and pour over sliced pickles.

Let set for 3 hrs. then drain.

Combine the other ingredients and bring to a boiling point. Do not boil.

Put in jars and seal.

Note: I used 4 c. sugar.
