Personal Notes:
Dad used to make batches and batches of this toffee at Christmastime each year. He'd put the pieces in small tins and give them to friends and neighbors for a Christmas gift, usually along with a loaf of his homemade bread. Again, this isn't his own recipe, but it's also very good. I've put pieces of this mixed with a variety of Christmas cookies and left them for neighbors at Christmas. Thanks, Dad!!
