3 C. Sliced Mushrooms
1/3 C. Diced Onion
8 T. Butter divided
1/3 C. Heavy Cream
4 C. Chicken Stock
1 T. Garlic
1/2 C. Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a soup pot, cook onion in 2 T. butter until translucent, then add garlic and cook 2-3 minutes.
Add mushrooms, salt & pepper, and cook until mushrooms have softened
Add 6 T. of butter; once melted, add flour and stir to mix. Cook for 2-3 minutes
Add chicken stock and mix until all lumps are removed, then add the heavy cream and bring to a boil until the desired thickness is achieved. About 5-8 minutes.
