1 stick butter
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
3 cups sugar
½ tsp. salt
1⅔ cup evaporated milk
Optional Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter. Stir in sugar gradually..... about 4 T. at a time making sure sugar is melted each time.
Mixture will become very thick and dry. Add salt and slowly stir in evaporated milk a little at a time. Stir until smooth and satiny. Serve hot. Store in a jar. Reheat over double boiler. If a thinner sauce is wanted, add more milk.
