2 Sticks of unsalted butter
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup of confectioners sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla

dry
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cream of tartar

additional
2 cups chopped pecans
90 pecan halves
1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling

1. cream together butter,
and sugar
2. mix in oil and , confectioner's sugar,
(it will be liquid like
3. add eggs one at a time
4. add vanilla and mix everything well
5. mix dry ingredients together
6. add dry ingredients
7. mix in the chopped pecans
8. refrigerate overnight
9. preheat oven to 350
10. form dough in balls and roll them in sugar
11. place them on parchment lined cookie sheets
12. press 3 pecans on each cookie
13. bake at 350 for 20 minutes
