½ cup sugar
2 T. cornstarch
¼ tsp. salt
¼ cup margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
dash nutmeg
2 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first three in sauce pan. Slowly add boiling water. Stir constantly to avoid lumps. Simmer while stirring about 5 minutes or until clear and thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients.

For a great change: Omit vanilla and spice and use brandy.
