1 bag or bunch of collard greens torn
˝ yellow onion diced
unsalted butter
1 tbsp garlic minced
8 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 lbs (appx) smoked turkey necks
1 tsp Better Than Bouillon chicken base seasoning
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
˝ red chilli flakes
1 tsp black pepper
dash hot sauce
1 cap apple cider vinegar
1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Directions:
Directions:
Add 2 tbsp of butter to a pot and melt. Add onions and sauté until translucent, then add 1 tsp minced garlic and sauté 1 min.

Add 8 cups chicken broth to pot and add turkey necks. Simmer turkey necks 1˝ hour on low heat until tender.

Remove turkey necks and cool. After cooled, shred the meat off the turkey necks.

Add meat back to pot. Add 1 tbsp of better than bouillon seasoning, and stir.

Add greens to pot, stirring as you add. Simmer for 10 min.

Add seasoning garlic powder, onion powder, chili flakes, pepper, hot sauce to greens and stir.

Add a cap of apple cider vinegar and 1 pkg of Lipton onion soup mix.

Simmer greens on low for 40 min.

Make sure you wash and de-stem greens

If you feel broth too salty add water 1 cup at a time
