Crust:
5 T. softened butter
⅓ c. packed light brown sugar
1 c. flour
½ c. finely chopped or ground nuts

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. sugar
1 lg. egg
2 T. milk
1 T. lemon juice
½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Crust:
Cream butter and sugar; blend in flour and nuts. Reserve 1 c. of mixture, set aside.
Press remaining mixture into an 8 inch square pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.

Filling:
Blend softened cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, milk, lemon juice, and vanilla.

Spoon filling evenly over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved crust mixture evenly over top.

Bake 25 minutes more. Cool, chill, cut into squares
