6 slices white bread, buttered and torn in pieces
2 cups diced or shredded chicken
½ cup chopped fresh mushrooms
½ cup finely chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
5 eggs
3 cups milk
Grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x13-inch pan. Put torn bread pieces in pan. Mix together the chicken mushrooms and onion. Spread over the bread. Beat the eggs and milk with a fork.
Pour over the above mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bring to room temperature and bake for 45 min. at 350ºF.
Top with grated cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
