1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. Mirin
1/2 tsp.grated ginger
1 clove garlic minced
2 12 oz. Pork Tenderloins trimmed of fat
1 1/2 tsp. Cornstarch
1 Tbsp. Water
2 scallions sliced thin
1 tsp. Sesame seeds toasted

Combine soy sauce, sugar, mirin, ginger and garlic in a slow cooker. Nestle pork into cooker side by side and cook 1-2 hours on low to 140º. Adjust oven rack 6 inches from broiler and preheat. Transfer pork to foil lined baking sheet. Transfer cooking liquid to saucepan and bring to simmer over medium heat. Whisk cornstarch and water together and whisk into saucepan and keep stirring until thickened 3-5 minutes. Brush pork heavily with glaze and broil until spotty brown on top - about 5 minutes. Transfer to carving board, tent loosely with foil and rest for 5 minutes. Slice and drizzle with glaze and sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice.

*be sure not to overcook. Check temp after one hour and be sure not to exceed 145º
