1 C. Sugar
1 C. Brown Sugar, packed
2 1/2 C. All-purpose flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 C. Peanut Butter chips or Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda - stir well.
2. Place flour mixture in a clean mason jar.
3. Pack down tight so everything will fit in the jar (use a spoon or mallet).
4. Add other ingredients, one item at a time, packing each layer down.
5. Put a lid on the jar and tie a ribbon around the lid.

Tag for jar:

1. Whip 1 cup of butter or shortening with 1 cup of peanut butter until light and fluffy.
2. Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla and beat until mixed.
3. Stir in the ingredients from the jar until well combined.
4. Drop teaspoons of dough on a greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees.
