2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1/3 cup whipping cream
Sugar

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter and cream. Cover. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Heat oven to 375. Roll about 1/3 dough 1/8 inch thick on floured cloth-covered board. Cut into 1 1⁄2 inch rounds. Coat both sides with sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Prick each round with a fork 4 times. Bake until set but not brown (7-9 minutes). Remove from cookie sheet. Cool. Put cookies together in pairs with filling.
Filling: Mix until smooth and fluffy. Add water if necessary. Tint with food coloring.
