1 pastry crust, unbaked
4 cups Concord grapes (sauce & pulp)
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbsp. Cornstarch
1/2 tsp. Lemon juice

Crumb Topping:

3/4 c.flour
1/3 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup (1/2 stick butter, melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Remove skins. Save the skins. Place grape pulp in saucepan, mash a few to release their juices. Cook over medium low heat until grapes come to a boil. Remove pulp from heat and process through a food mill to remove seeds. Combine pulp & skins and freeze. If not freezing, take one cup cold juice add to pot . Mix in sugar and cornstarch and bring to a slow boil stirring constantly until thickened. Add to pulp mixture, stir & pour over unbaked crust. Make Crumb Topping

Crumb Topping:

Mix flour, sugar & salt. Add melted butter. With a fork , stir in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle crumb crust evenly. Bake the pie 40 to 45 min. Or until the filling bubbles in the center.
* with melted butter, use fork to mix.
