1 Stick of Butter (1/2 cup)
1 Cup of Sugar
2 Eggs
4 Cups of Flour
2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon of Salt
2 1/2 Cups of Raisins
2 Cups of Buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Prehat oven to 350º. Spray large muffin tins good. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in dry ingredients. Mix in buttermilk. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 30-40 minutes. Makes 1 dozen large muffins.


Can make as bread in 8" or 9" round pans. Bake at 375º for 50-60 minutes.
