1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 chopped onion
15-oz can kidney beans
1 lb solid pack tomatoes, drained
6 oz bottle taco sauce
3 tsp chili powder
4 1/2 oz can sliced olives
1 1/2 c cheddar cheese
1 medium pkg corn tortilla chips
sour cream
chopped lettuce
Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger. Add onions, beans and tomatoes. Add olives and taco sauce and simmer for 15 minutes uncovered. In the bottom of a 3-quart casserole dish put half of the meat mixture and top with 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 the tortilla chips. Repeat another layer. End with the last 1/2 c cheese. Bake covered in a 350-degree oven for 45 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Top with a layer of sour cream and then a layer of chopped lettuce.
