Ingredients:  
2-3 lbs hamburger
1 large carrot-diced
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 pkg lipton onion soup mix
Worcestershire sauce- 3 to 4 drops
Ritz crackers- 1 sleeve crushed
tomato sauce-small
salt, pepper
garlic powder
Lawry's salt
1/2 chopped onion- optional
1/2 inch beef broth or water (for bottom of loaf pan)
peppers for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º
Mix meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, Lawry's salt, onion, carrot
Add cracker crumbs
Beat egg, add milk, soup mix and fold into meat mixture. Add tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce. Add pepper slices on top
Cover meat loaf for 1/2 hour and baste with sauce (see below)
Uncover for 1/2 hour

Sauce:
ketchup, dash mustard, 2-3 drops Worcestershire, brown sugar, black pepper to taste

Gravy- use brown gravy mix and water, add remaining ketchup/brown sugar mixture with 1/4 can tomato soup. Thicken with cornstarch/water mixture.
