1 to 2 Flat Corned Beef
1 can of beef broth
1-2 Bay leaves
cold water
spices from meat package
1 large onion chunked
Carrots chunked
2 Turnips
2-3 Parsnips
Baby red potatoes
1-2 medium size head of cabbage
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Don't rinse meat. Add beef broth, cold water, and spices to pan. Add meat. Make sure water is above the meat. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer for approx. 3 hours (Can add one bottle of Guinness beer)

Add onion, carrots, turnips, parsnips and cook for additional 1/2 hour
Add potatoes and cook for 15 minutes
Add cabbage (1/4 pieces connected to core to hold together) and cook for 20 minutes covered.

Salt and pepper to taste.
