1 can whole asparagus
1 can LeSeur peas
1 can water chestnuts
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 Tbsp. cream
5 slices of bread
1 stick butter
Grated cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Drain asparagus and make a layer of asparagus in greased casserole dish. Drain peas and place over asparagus. Drain and thinly slice water chestnuts; place over peas. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix soup and cream and spoon over vegetables. Take crust off of bread and but into cubes. Toss with melted butter and place on top of. casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
