1 large Onion, peeled & sliced (weight of whole onion approx 7oz/200g)
2 cups / 500ml Beef Stock (heated)
2/3 cup / 160ml Dry Red Wine
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Flour
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Salt, Pepper, and sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet and add the onions over medium heat. Once they start to color, reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until caramelized and jammy. This can take up to 30-45 minutes.

Add the remaining tbsp of butter to pan to melt then add the flour, stirring until a paste forms. Cook for at least a minute for the raw flour taste to cook out. Slowly whisk in the wine and broth until smooth. Add in Worcestershire and season to taste.

Simmer until desired thickness and enjoy!
