6 sweet onions Vidalia
1/2 C white vinegar
1/2 C water
3/3 C sugar
2 tsp salt
1 C mayo
2 T celery seeds

Directions:
Slice onions very thin, put in bowl
Combine vinegar, water, sugar, & salt pour over onions and mix well.
Put a plate over and let onions sit on counter all day or overnight.
Drain onions well. Add mayo and celery seed to onions and chill before serving
